Gruyère France, onion, and paprika puff-pastry sticks
- 250g puff pastry
- 1 egg yolk + tsp water
- 1 onion
- 2 tbsp sweet paprika
- 50g grated Entremont Gruyère France
- Salt and fresh pepper
Preheat oven to 180°C.
Roll out the pastry.
Mix the egg yolk with the water. Use a brush to brush the pastry with the egg yolk. Sprinkle with grated Entremont Gruyère France Chop the onion finely and sprinkle it over the pastry and cheese. Lightly salt and pepper, and sprinkle with paprika. Delicately flatten using a rolling pin.
Using a knife (or pizza cutter) cut the pastry into 1 x 15 cm strips. Place on a baking tray and cook in the oven for about ten minutes watching the cooking. Eat warm.
